Abstract:
In banking sector, where decisions can a have wide-reaching financial implications, the significance of EI in decision-making is being recognized as important strategy in this 21st century. This paper examines the factors that influence EI and its dimensions in relation to decision-making within a banking context. The literature review and empirical data are employed to assess the various components of EI: self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management in the outcomes of decision-making. This research paper highlights the importance of EI in supporting the employees’ decisions in a prudent and effective manner, with practical suggestions for making better decisions in the banking environment.
