Abstract:
The digital transformation of education has significantly influenced teaching and learning practices across disciplines, including humanities education. Blended learning, which combines traditional face-to-face instruction with digital and online learning methodologies, has emerged as an effective educational approach in the digital era. Humanities education, traditionally centered on critical thinking, cultural understanding, interpretation, and discussion-based learning, can greatly benefit from blended learning strategies that enhance accessibility, collaboration, engagement, and personalized learning experiences. This paper explores the role of blended learning approaches in improving humanities education by integrating digital technologies, virtual learning environments, multimedia resources, and interactive pedagogies. The study examines key blended learning models, technological tools, pedagogical benefits, challenges, and future trends. The paper also highlights how blended learning supports student-centered education, digital literacy, collaborative learning, and flexible academic environments. The findings suggest that blended learning has the potential to modernize humanities education while preserving its core intellectual and cultural values.
